    San Fermín

From 12 noon on July 6 to 12 midnight on July 14, the annual San Fermín festival, takes place in Pamplona, which is in northern Spain.

In addition to a very informative Wikipedia entry, here are some other resources which may be of interest:

    •  Council of Pamplona, San Fermín fiestas

    •  Videos Sanfermines 2009, in Spanish, courtesy of RTVE.es.  A collection of the latest audio and video from the 2009 festivities.

    •  The OFFICIAL website for San Fermín in Nueva Orleans.  I found this website interesting: A state-side running of the bulls, New Orleans-style.  This year's festivities will take place July 10-12.

¡Viva San Fermín! From the Spanish Language and Culture website, grammar practice with the preterit and the imperfect is integrated with cultural information about San Fermín.
